We offer the latest ski and snowboard equipment at a great price with friendly and quick service. Mtn. Mike's Sports has been open since 1988. Now located in the historic building built in 1952 by the founders of Squaw Valley, the Poulsens. In 1958 it was transformed for the 1960 Winter Olympics into the locals favorite bar, the "Bear Pen Tavern". In the mid 70's the tavern changed ownership and became the infamous "Lone Star". This bar was featured in the 1982 cult classic ski movie, "Hot Dog". Mtn. Mike has married old and new with classic ski decor and the latest in ski equipment. Save time and money by renting with us before you hit the mountain. Conveniently located on Squaw Valley Rd. next to the ski resort. |
