1. Can we pick up our equipment the night before we plan to ski / snowboard?
Yes, you can pick up your equipment anytime after 4:00 pm. Our shop is open from 8 am until 6 pm daily (Friday and Saturday - 8am until 9pm). There is no extra charge for picking up your equipment the night before.
2. Where can I store my equipment at the hill for free?
You are welcome to store your rental skis/snowboards at of our shop for free.
3. Can I skip a day without being charged for my equipment?
Yes, we allow rest days on five or more rental days. Let the staff at the store know that you are taking a rest day and they will store the equipment for you at the store.
4. What is the difference between Sport and High Performance equipment?
Sport equipment is generally shorter and softer flexing equipment that is easier for those who are learning to turn and want to build confidence on the mountain. Typically, Sport equipment is used on Green and Blue runs.
High Performance equipment will help you get the most out of your Squaw vacation. If you normally ski or ride on Blue and Black runs, we can offer you equipment designed for carving, powder, park and all mountain conditions. For more information, browse through our ski and snowboard sections. High performance demo skis available inventory may vary. We will help each customer in selecting the ski that is right for their ability and individual preferences.
5. Can I try out several different High Performance Demo skis?
Yes, you can exchange your demo skis daily but only one ski per day on multi day rentals.
6. Can I purchase the High Performance Demo Skis?
We will apply one day rental fee towards your purchase of a demo ski. As the season progresses demo skis drop up to 50% off retail prices.
7. What is Mtn. Mike's Sports cancellation policy?
Mtn. Mike's Sports will give a refund in full if you book online and call to cancel 24 hours prior to rental. If you use part of your booking, Mtn. Mike's Sports will refund the unused part back to you in store. We refund the unused days starting with the last day booked, if you book 6 days and use 3 days we will refund day 6, day 5 and day 4.
